  3. Outer Cover - Abrasion resistant thermoplastic PVC compound
  • Visual inspection before each use for cuts, abrasions, kinks, flattening, or damaged braid; replace if cover or reinforcement is exposed.
  • Avoid sharp bends; respect minimum bend radius as per datasheet to prevent kinking and braid damage.
  • Store coiled in cool, shaded, dry place away from direct sunlight and ozone sources (UV degrades PVC over time).
  • Periodic pressure test (hydrostatic test) per manufacturer recommendation after installation and after repairs. Manufacturer should provide maximum test pressure and recommended test intervals.
  • Clean after use if used with corrosive chemicals; flush with compatible fluid and dry. Keep records of service life for safety‑critical uses
